How often have you thought, "I needn't have worried after all?" Many people worry about their performance at work and how others perceive it. They worry about whether their job is secure in light of redundancies. They worry about the future. What does the future hold for them?

However, in any situation that might cause you to worry, you can take action.

You could ask yourself, "Can I change it?" If so, do it. If not, then ask yourself, "Will worry change it?"

Worry never solves problems. If it did, everyone would worry regularly.

In reality, it has the opposite effect because it creates chemical reactions: stress and fear, which exacerbate the worry. It becomes real in your subconscious, and then hopelessness follows.

Worry repels solutions.

Whereas you can attract solutions by changing your belief system to one of hopefulness by searching for answers to your problem. Look at all the alternatives, and you will find the answer. Think of crazy answers outside of reality if you have to. It will kickstart your problem-solving thinking.

Having this as a thought will help; I will stop worrying about everything that bothers me and ask myself, can I change it? If so, I will act accordingly. If I cannot change it I will take steps to handle it by focussing on creating answers to my problems and attract solutions.
