We have finally made it into our new office. It feels like a miracle of office-like proportions. The saga of moving started in June. Who knew it would take almost three months to get a phone line on - we had to get a new one run - and hot water cylinders, you can't trust them. Well not our one. The new carpet got a wash it wasn't due for. How is this inspirational? Good question. It's amazing what you can you can put up with if you have to. Really. I've been through stuff/staff like you wouldn't believe and mistakes, that would put most companies out of business, have actually been great learning experiences. ... No, they haven't really. They should not have happened in the first place. But now they have we know what we have to do to have them not happen again. As I wrote that last paragraph I realised I was looking for a silver lining. I do that. I have a positive attitude. It makes a big difference. That's not to say I don't get down. My lovely wife has put up with a very grumpy Glenn lately. But we got through and now we are in the office I can see it was worth the pain.
