There are a lot of quotes about boredom but this one sums up the word / feeling for me. Boredom is not only an insult to oneself it's an insult to your companions. One should never be 'bored' when you are breathing.

Fight against it with every ounce of energy you have and look at every situation with childlike wonder. You will never be bored again.

Walter Savage Landor said, "Men, like nails, lose their usefulness when they lose direction and begin to bend."

How often do you bend? Sometimes bending is disguised as compromise. A word I'm not that keen on but it seems to make relationships and the world go round.

However, in recent times I have decided to become tougher, more focused and have an opinion. Some people like that opinion and some people don't. But at least we're talking and I'm feeling more useful.

Be like a nail, useful, and stay focused this week.
