YourMondayMotivator: Start with what you have.

If you want to be successful you at anything you have to: start with what you have.

To often we look outside ourselves for things to help us be successful. We go on a course, or at least look at going on a course. We look for a piece we think is missing. We think it might be many pieces.

But to be successful to have to start somewhere and that somewhere is you. It's your environment, where you live, where you work.

You need to take stock of what you have and leverage it.

Here's a quick list of what I have to start with this week:

1. An email list.
2. Staff who are smarter than me.
3. Good coffee a short walking distance from the office.
4. A brain that thinks.
5. Hands that write.
6. You reading this MondayMotivator.

You have a lot to start with to do anything.

Pause now and write down what you want to do. ....

Now write a list of what you have right now. when you have finished make a short list of what will help you do what you want. Make a shorter list of what can help this month. Now this week. Now today.

Now, and here's the tough part because you don't believe me that this will work yet, do that thing you can do today now. Not after morning tea, not after lunch, NOW!

I'm doing it to.

Have a great week.

Glenn

The really, really BIG questions.

Gary Zukav said, "Please… tell me who you are and what you want. And if you think those are simple questions, keep in mind that most people live their entire lives without arriving at an answer.

Who am I? See now that's a tough one. Am I a mass of tissue powered by a mind created from electro-chemical impulses or just Glenn Edley from Titirangi, Auckland.

What do I want? Where do I begin. Global domination, good guitar player, racing cars, bikes, skate park, kids, money, fame. I could go anywhere with this question or could I just want to be remembered for making a difference to few peoples lives everyday.

Will I ever have an answer that really satisfies me? I hope not because as it says at the bottom of each page of the Ponsonby News; the world belongs to the dissatisfied.

What are you dissatisfied with that could drive you to growing and making a difference?
